Description
The Egyptian goddess Bastet.
Bastet is the cat goddess of pleasure, and favorite daughter of the sun god Ra. She's spoiled, but doesn't really show it; she is rather naive and idealistic though, and loves spending all her time playing and enjoying herself. She has a cheery personality and if anyone can get Ra out of a bad mood, it's her. (Please note that this is MY OWN interpretation of her as a character in my writing. I prefer to keep her "bad side" confined to Sakhmet, a separate character.)
This is an old sketch of Bastet from when I was just learning how to draw anthro. I've recently tried her in a new style; unsure which I prefer, if either.
