Sea Singer

This is "Sea Singer, Source Of Renewal," one of the Dragons Of The Crystal Cave. These are a set of ornaments being put out by the Ashton-Drake Galleries. I got a flyer in the mail advertising them and decided to draw them all. This should be the fourth of nine; I have photo references of the first three, and drawn references of the other six, but if there are any ornaments aside from those I haven't been able to find any images of them. Just Google "Dragons Of The Crystal Cave" and you should find images of the first three.

Normally, I don't do things like scales and the type of color shading/blending on the wings. But number one, gemstones all over a dragon's wings made no sense to me so I decided to use the gems' colors instead, and number two, I wanted it to be more detailed.

Again, my scanner kind of wussed out on me...this dragon was meant to be a kind of sea green, but came out more aqua blue instead. Well...at least it's still a sea color?
